  • Income Tax Department declared 31 March 2023 as the last date to link add Aadhaar card and PAN card.

  • Firstly you have to check the status whether your PAN card is linked or not linked with Aadhaar card. After this if there is no link then follow some simple steps given below.
  • Step 1 : The Person has to open the income tax portal www.incometax.gov.in, in that he will see the option of “Link Aadhaar” and then click on that.
  • Step 2 : After that you have to type your Aadhar card number and Pan card number very carefully.
  • Step 3 : In the very next step, the Person have to enter his/her mobile number and a one time password (OTP) will also be received on the number. Type OTP and click on submit.
  • Step 4 : After the completion of the few verification steps, Select the annual year (AY) as 2023-24 and Type of Payment in which you are comfortable with – as other Receipts (500)  the Citizen has to pay a fee of Rs.1000.
  • Step 5 : Don’t forget to download the payment Receipt after the Payment.
